KontrollerLab: An AVR IDE for Linux

October 9th, 2007

I haven't tried it out yet but I've stumbled across an AVR microcontroller IDE for Linux. It's called KontrollerLab and looks promising. When I searched around about a year ago I couldn't find anything and have often considered starting a project myself. But I like what I'm seeing here. It's called KontrollerLab.

As you may guess by the name, it uses the KDE libraries (Qt) but that's okay. Installing the KDE libraries doesn't mean you have to use KDE. You just need the libraries and KDE applications run just find under GNOME.

If anyone has tried this out, let me know what you think. I'm still unpacking and don't have my robotics stuff unpacked yet.
